What to include in the first message

To scope the work without unnecessary back-and-forth, please include:

• legal form and country of ownership;
• whether the Russian operation is a legal entity, branch, representative office or another structure;
• current accounting system and reporting framework;
• whether headquarters reporting is required in addition to local records;
• approximate monthly document/transaction volume;
• relevant reporting period and deadlines;
• the specific problem you need to solve: recurring accounting, cleanup, RAS/IFRS reporting, tax-compliance workflow, due diligence or another finance task.

If the request concerns a transaction, historic accounting issue or reporting deadline, mention the date and material amounts where possible.

Engagement boundary
